RAMP (Rosehill Accelerated Mathematics Program) is an alternative program offered by the College that is designed for high achieving students who wish to specialise and enhance their mathematics skills.
RAMP aims to:
- Support and encourage students who are above expected standard at their current year level in all areas of the Mathematics curriculum.
- Align and reinforce content from Mathematics classes.
- Provide an opportunity for students to discover and consolidate talent in mathematics.
- Challenge and extend the skills of problem solving, logical and critical thinking.
The program places particular emphasis on application problems involving Algebra and Graphing in preparation for Advanced Mathematics at the senior level.
Students must be identified by the Enrichment Learning Specialist, Mathematics KLA Leader and Mathematics teacher to take part in the program.
